'04-'06 wheels vs '07?

I have a 04 6mt TL and when I bought the car it just came with 3 OEM rims. Now winter is coming I'm looking for a single 4th rim and as you can guess it's pretty hard to find someone who's selling only 1 rim lol.

So I found this one by chance, and it says it comes from a 2007 TL. Is it me or the rim is a little different from 04-06?

thanks

Thats not a 07 wheel thats a 04-06 wheel. Here is a 07 wheel. http://www.finishlinewheels.com/prodimg/ALY71762U.jpg

I don't know where you live but around where I live you can get full sets of 04-06 wheels for $250.

The rims on the 07-08 are a multi-spoke design. Maybe this guy was using 04-06 style rims on his 07 and that's why he said it's from that model year?

Thanks buddy. I doubt you live in Montreal though lol..

Might it be different on Canadian models? Do you guys see any difference? The one I posted looks more concave to me.. or it's just my eyes that are fu*** up :S

No, that wheel is not more concave. It is the same and it is off a 04-06 model. Canadian models used the same rims for the 04-06 and 07-08 as the American models.

That's actually an '04-'05 wheel-- the '06 has a similar design, but has a flattened rectangular section around the tire stem for the TPMS.

"04-'05 did not have a TPMS.

That's good info right there! I learned something new!!! I always thought 04-06 were the same.

nope 06 has TPMS that why there is a flatten rectangular area by the valve stem, this is how to tell which year the 04-06 TL.
