Yeah I had fun, I lost a few slips.

There was bracket racing after the free runs and I came like 5th out of 50+ cars ranging from low 11 second evos to 17 second civics.

^^ I think it was a typo and should be 14.8.

Nice runs man. I can't remember what your 60' was on the runs (can't see at work), but not bad times. Your trap number is pretty good, should pull nice from a roll. With the headers you could creep below 14.5

What you need for next time, my friend, is a set of headers too.

I dynoed my TL-S with XS power headers and there was a over a 20whp gain.

I am thinking about the headers.

If I plan an electronic controlled cutout, will headers still be that big of a gain?

I am really pleased with my runs seeing as there are timeslips from stock 07+ TL-S running about the same

Headers will be even more effective with a cutout. I would bet on another 10-15whp over the headers with a cutout.

Good runs!

I see a lot of cars on dragtimes that do the 1/4 low 14s but don't trap as high as me, is this indicative of not hooking up? During freeway pulls, my car seems to beat a lot of cars that have lower 1/4 times, but lower trap speeds.

All I have done is CAI and mid muffler delete with new mufflers.

What can I do for better low end?

It depends on what your engine is built for as well as your gearing. The J32 and my J30 aren't torque monsters so the low end isn't going to be like the J35 or the VQ35. Your 60ft will be a good indication of your low end torque. Our engines are built for mid range and high end. That is where we make our power which is indicated in your trap speed. A great way to improve low-end in our vehicles is with a UR Lightweight pulley. For your vehicle i know that headers is a great way to improve your power across the whole RPM band.

I am planning on getting headers, but I can't seem to find any data wether or not DC headers are CARB legal. California is dumb and don't really want to drop 1k on CT headers.

Their website seems to say "50 state legal or pending" but I am not sure if that will get around getting smogged.
