I think this mods was cheaper than my Meguiars Ultimate car wash lol
Hope you find it useful !
If I ever need another shock sensor I will let you know!
Plan on adding one to the passenger side behind the glovebox somewhere.

whats the story with the glass sensor?
GP, if i wanted the shock sensor like you have, and the glass sensor...can you point me in the right direction? or does yours go off if you tap the glass too?

This is reply to the PMs......
A very simple DIY from 3+ yrs ago, no comparison to the OP's DIY. Also too bad all the pics got thrashed. Just read the notes...
https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-audio-bluetooth-electronics-navigation-94/3g-shock-sensor-addition-685090/
My shock sensor is from Compustar, it has a sensitivity adjusting wheel with 1-10 on it. I have it at "3" I think. I have it connected to the 2nd stage, bc Acura alarm does NOT support "warn 1st" b4 alarm. Place it so it's to the center of the car as much as possible & not on anything that will/could absorb the shock. So that impacts from front/rear bumpers & all 4 door panels will trigger the alarm.
My glass break/sound sensor is from DEI. Microphone is directional, placement is very critical, should be level with glass & NOT covered up.
I didn't want the microphone to be an eye sore, so I hid it behind the center air vent. Tapping key on the window glass/windshield will trigger the alarm.
I have my set up rather sensitive, semi-trailer/Harley will trigger the alarm. Also hail triggered the alarm about a month ago.

Thanks buddy!
You'll have to buy a glass sensor which is the DEI 506T.
Hope you'll find it useful!
Shock sensor and tilt is a good choice!

Thanks GP...I may add a little "hub" for the power, ground and trigger so that I could piggy back a tilt sensor too. This is a GREAT addition to our OEM alarm. I've wanted a LITTLE more protection, without going aftermarket.

Ebay is usually cheapest to grab those three =)
If I end up adding more sensors, I'll probably just tap the new sensor wires into the primary sensor wire.
Glad to hear people are trying out this DIY!
Way more traffic and attention than my cold cathode DIY lol

My thinking is that if you were to try and break the window (based on the way GP's demo video went) you would probably set off the shock sensor. So, IMO I would pick glass or shock, but shock seems more all encompassing.
Now, if someone wanted to not touch anything inside your car and just steal your rims, the tilt sensor would nab that. Although, I would venture to guess even without the tilt...if you have locks, they'd probably have to hammer a socket or something onto the lock and it will probably set off the shock too.
But yeah, shock and tilt for me.

OK, for the one that refuses to Google.....
1) 504M Stinger DoubleGuard Shock/Impact Sensor For OEM Factory Alarms
The most effective protection against shock/impact. Uses patented electromagnetic technology to eliminate mechanical parts. Now you can interface the best shock sensor to factory alarms with the 504M. Specifically designed to deliver the right pulse. Interfaces with the hood switch circuit. Draws less than 1mA. Part No. 504M
2) 504K DoubleGuard Shock/Impact Sensor For OEM Factory Alarms With LED
The most effective protection against shock/impact. Uses patented electromagnetic technology to eliminate mechanical parts. Now you can interface the best shock sensor to factory alarms with the 504K. Specifically designed to deliver the right pulse. Interfaces with the hood switch circuit. Draws less than 1mA. Includes a flashing LED light and a built in Valet Toggle Switch. Part No. 504K.
3) 506T Audio Glass Sensor
Provides pre-entry protection by detecting tampering and breaking of vehicle's glass.
An additional layer of protection, the Audio Sensor instantly detects attempts to tamper with or break your vehicle's glass.
Reliable CMOS design with remote microphone analyzes frequency, intensity and timing of intrusion sounds to eliminate false alarms. Part No. 506T.
4) 507T Digital Tilt/Motion Sensor
The Tilt/Motion Sensor is used to compliment the level of security provided by the shock sensors found on most alarms.
The Tilt/motion sensor detects when the vehicle is being raised in an attempt to either remove the wheels/tires or tow the vehicle.
The 507T is capable of independently referencing the vehicle's initial angles of vertical and horizontal inclination each time the vehicle is parked, ensuring the most accurate tilt (vertical) and motion sensing (horizontal) possible.
The unit has selectable dipswitch settings for both the tilt threshold and the motion
sensitivity levels. You can select the sensor for tilt detection only for both tilt and motion.
5) 509U Ultrasonic Interior Sensor
The Ultrasonic Interior Sensor is used to provide coverage of a vehicle's interior cabin area. The sensors detect movement inside the vehicle by sensing air disturbance. They should trigger the alarm if a thief has gained access to the interior of your vehicle. Fully adjustable.
Includes enough cable for the sensors to mount on the driver and passenger front A pillars with mounting hardware.
6) 508D Dual Radar Sensor
Generates two invisible detection fields around your vehicle, offering either a Warn Away® response or full alarm. Great for convertibles, sunroofs, T-Tops for both trucks, SUV's or any size car.
The 508D uses a ultra-high frequency field to detect objects of sufficient mass which move within a defined area. The 508D triggers the first stage output if an object is detected in the outer zone of coverage, while the second stage output is triggered if the inner zone is violated.
Comes with 6.5 foot 4 wire cord with plug.

You the man bro!!! I think I might add one to factory alarm on top of my after market alarm as well. Then I'll have the horn going off and the siren going off together. I'll know when it's my alarm better also cause the two sounds. Thanks for your help. Great job!! This page is definately getting a bookmark!

Well done mb190!
As stated, the 504D has a harness with a connector that's meant for the DEI alarms.
The 504M has a universal harness.
The actual sensors are the EXACT same!
After seeing the thread where a guy got his rims stolen, I'm thinking of getting a tilt sensor.
The 507M is way more expensive than the shock sensor lol

I initially zip tied it to the steering column but then whenever I turned the wheels I heard weird noises from parts of the shock sensor and zip ties hitting something right beside the steering column.
