$400 to spend

If you had $400 to spend on your TL, what do you think you'd get or do to it? I received some money for my birthday and as luck would have it, I haven't ear marked it for any specific thing yet. It's not a ton of money, but I figure I'll spend it on the TL. Let me know what you think.

If it was me and I had 400 to spend. new rotors, or magnaflow mufflers for the rear to replace the stock ones.

The question is what do you want? Performance, looks, maintenance?

With $400 I could get someone to regrease my mirrors for me so that they move smoothly. But since that isn't a priority and I'm not moving my mirrors around all the time, I'd most likely pocket it. Besides, I can do that job myself (I'm just afraid I might break something). I'd also change out my dead sidemarker.

If i was 40 years old and got $400, I'd be going to the strip club. But since I'm only $20, I'd be doing the spring maintance like alignment, brakes, rotors, tires, etc.

Marco, we are not you.
what you are interested in, we may not be.

if you were looking for Ideas to spend your money on, your time would be better spent looking through the forums, finding things that catch your eye, and or are interested in doing.

if I had $400 right now, I'd spend it on my insurance deductible.
See, how would me spending my money on an insurance deductible benefit you!?

$400 - If you have to ask, means you probably don't have $400 too often and shouldn't spend it on non-critical items on your car. If you don't have maintenance items that need to be addressed, I would either use it to pay down the loan or keep it use for when a maintenance item is due.

All good ideas. I don't have a loan on the car and there is no general maintenance that will be needed for a few months. Plus, maintenance and repairs come out of a separate account. It's sort of as Jackass said, it's just rare that I have cash that my wife doesn't have (or want) spent on other things lol. The j-pipe idea is a good one.

And the strip club idea....eehhhhh...I've dropped too much money over the years there and in this case Wifey will want to know what I spent my money on.

Perhaps I'll look for some 18" summer rims. I'm about 1/2 way there as far as price. Or maybe some new front speakers for the stereo. IHC had a good suggestion in another thread about Dynaudio speakers.

Tein S Techs. 1.5 inch drop. It's not ridiculously low, but it gets rid of that disgusting OEM wheel gap.

PCD's are on sale for $345, I'm sure shipping to Canada is expensive.
