$$$ did i get ripped off by dearlership?

From Dallas. I bought 2005 certified pre-owned TL w/Nav and underbody kit, 8500 miles, clean title for $31800 + TTL. I dont know if it is a good deal but I know for a fact I didn't get ripped off in financing because I calculated everything in Microsoft Excel, got 3.9% for 48 months. I put down $7500 down, my payment is $598 for 48 months.

DID I GET RIPPED OFF BY DEARLERSHIP? Or this was average price?? Certified pre-owned have bad azz warranty

How can I play mp3 files? damn xm is installed
How can i get 2006 nav software w/o paying for it? LOL

Thanks for the help

I don't know about the price you paid...
I paid about that much for a non-navi 2006...
It came to be about $34600 total.
but about the mp3 thing. I installed USA SPEC with a Y-adapter.
It comes with an AUX IN AND an IPOD adapter...and with the Y-adapter, I still have the XM working fine. Some people said in this forum that the IPOD "bleeds" into the XM, but I didn't have any issues. The IPOD text doesn't show up on my radio either, though I can control it with my steering wheel controls...which I don't really care about...it may be because mine is a non-navi... Aux in works great with my Pocket PC and MP3s....

If you are considering one, check out: www.sector29.com They were pretty good with my order....and get a Y-cable...it cost like $40 at Discount Car Stereo.com

USA SPEC

USA-SPEC PA11HON2 IPOD INTERFACE FOR 2006 HONDAS. TAKE YOUR IPOD WITH YOU AND LISTEN TO ALL YOUR FAVORITE SONGS DIRECTLY THROUGH YOUR CAR'S STEREO.

Condition: Brand New

Model: PA11HON2

SKU: 37-USPPA11HON2

Our Price: $99.95

I think you paid a few thousand too much. 30K OTD would have been better.
but it might be your area. Cars will have better resale value in different areas of the country

I think that if you're happy, you made a helluva deal. Period. You're the only one that matters. And you're right...that's one heck of a warranty.

I got my 06 TL with navi for 32500+TTL. It was only $800 more than what you paid for your 05 with 8500 miles. Drive out was 34800. I bought it last week in houston. I think you paid a bit too much there.

Except he has a heck of a lot better warranty. IIRC, the certified used cars come with 100K powertrain warranty don't they?

Hey there, i got the same car, but an '06/New for 31,500 in NY and the 4.9% APR over 5 years. For a used car, I think you could have done better...

yeah, i think you did. I paid 32,800 for a brand new TL 5AT with navi including 36 month 2.9% financing. for $1000, i got a new car and 8000 off my odometer, seems like a bargain.

In general I would agree, I think you paid too much (reminds me of leaving the Acura dealer over the weekend and seeing a 2005 Navi TL with a price on the windshield of $34,500 and I laughed).

However other people hear also have to remember that yours has the underbody spoilers (if all 3 it adds over $1K to what the vehicle would cost new with those add-ons)

I don't know if you got ripped off in Dallas. In Southern California, I just bought a brand new 06 TL w/Navi for $300 less than that.

Yeah I think that you got ripped off by your dealership especially for a used car. You paid a couple thousand to much.

oh well mine does include underbody kit and a spoiler, it does have a 100k powertrain warranty. I guess damn those dealers are good at ripping people off. I thought i got a good deal cuz of low financing rate. I love this car and its worth every penny

Like I said, the underbody kit and spoiler do offset it a bit (to the tune of over $1700 if new)

Well, you didn't get majorly ripped off. But if you're gonna spend over $30k for a car, might as well buy a new one, just so you can be the first owner, as well as have the 06 model. And you gotta ask yourself, how much do you love the spoiler and underbody kit? Were those features a must-have where you were willing to get a used car. In any case, I don't wanna make you regret your purchase, you still did get good financing.

Here's a thread where we compared what we paid, I paid $31,400 before TTL for an 06 TL w/ Navi and got them to throw in the Ipod MusicLink installed. https://acurazine.com/forums/religion-politics-18/israel-waste-country-140832/

Mp3's: in short, you can't play Mp3's.
2006 Navi software: buy it! I doubt it's gonna be that much updated than your 2005 DVD.
