Whats out there to lower the RLX

There is nothing. The RLX market is too small for anyone to spend money developing a product. You may have to be the pioneer here.

I know everyone has their own tastes, etc., but I continue to scratch my head over this lowering fad. IMO the stock height makes for an almost perfect visual balance:
Lowering not only adversely affects ride quality and handling, but also shoves the wheels too far up into the wheel wells. To me, a car that sits up on its wheels is a car that looks like it is eager and ready to run and play, whereas a car slumped down on its wheels looks tired and worn out.
Just a vote for not lowering!

Couldn't agree more Mike. This picture of the P-AWS in graphite with the tinted windows is the picture that sold me on the RLX before even going to test drive it. The factory height has a nice elegant yet sexy aggressive stance to it.

Im in So Cal and near a sloo of companies that, I was offered by MEGAN RACING to Prototype a set of Coilovers and exhaust, all will be no charge to me but I personaly want my car to have the best ride possible so I went with the ACCUAIR E LEVEL suspension.

The RLX just looks so handsome in graphite luster. That's a really great picture.

I almost got the graphite luster, but the color was just too close to what I had on my RL. The new luster is very nice though.
I still do not see why people criticize the RLS style compared to Lexus or Infinity.

i agree about GLM being a nice color. No wonder why Acura uses it on everything.
A while back my dealer had a GLM Advanced RLX with the Graystone interior in the show room. That's the one mom feel in love with. I liked it too. The gauges in the New Acura's are so small though... I do not like.
And yes the RLX stock ride height is very very nice when fitting with 19" wheels. Have yet to see another in person since the showroom.

I also found out BC has complete coilovers for our vehicle now. Let the modding begin....

that's funny, yea Universal Air is like 20 mins from me, so it was easy to get the Accuair/universal set up , took one week to install, now that all is said and done I wouldn't put anything else but a solid AIR system , I know it's expensive but even Coilover setups can get pricey, Im sure you don't want the best out there, springs are cool but you're stuck that that height... idunno I just said to (((FUKIT))) and did it lol

Ditto. I'll not fault the guys who lower their cars if that's their thing but I just purchased a Navi in this color and it looks perfect the way it is. Traded my 06 TL for it and that was already low for me (I'm not as spry as I used to be) I won't be touching my RLX for awhile but the tint does look nice; I may reconsider!

If anyone is interested in lowering there RLX hit me up. I now have a full coil setup for the RLX. Tested and works perfect with the all wheel steering and I also have custom camber arms for the rear. If I know how to post pics I would lol.

Lowering a P-AWS RLX is a Catch 22.
It's a heavy car, with all the weight on the nose.
You almost must have a rear suspension kit that changes the camber setting.
You want extra camber on the nose to increase the turn in on a front drive car, but having increased camber on the rear defeats the purpose completely, and you'll end up with a car that pushes worse than the stock car.
Another thing to think about, if you're all that much about lowering the car, is how you're going to find a rear bar that's suitable.
And good luck with the toe. If you're left with any toe out, especially in the rear, and it cannot be corrected, then you will have a very unstable car. One that works for an autocross, but not one that you'd want on a road course or one that you're trying to manage in an emergency on a public highway.
What are the recommended suspension settings for a specific drop height? How many mistakes are you willing to make, and how much money are you willing to waste while you figure this out?
It's all about increasing the turn in with a car that has all the weight on the nose. There's a price to pay and one thing always leads to another. Think it through all the way before you start doing things like this, because the simple fact of lowering the car is going to make it handle worse unless you go through all the other steps that are involved with changing suspension settings.

Anyone try the Mugen Sport Suspension KC2 for the +15 RLX/Legend? I love the smooth comfortable ride; but, I really miss the sportiness in the curves in the RLX I have with my 06 TSX (A-spec suspension+Progress RSB), 08 RDX (Eibach springs+Progress RSB), 11 MDX Adv ADS, and 19 MDX Sport Hybrid electronic dampers.
Part no. 50000-XMT-K0S0, lower ride height 20mm, cost $2250, shipping from Japan 3-5 days at $208
