Oh yeah, what page in the manual? :p
I guess some people just don't like to read the real questions in this forum.
All they want to see is: why RLX sucks, Marketing/sales suck?Suspension rattle/bolt issue, how come i don't see many of them.... blah blah.

Officially, Acura's instructions on replacing the cabin filter are:
1. Drive to your local Acura dealer
2. Bend over
3. Try to relax, it will be over soon
4. Drive home with your new cabin filter and much lighter wallet and take a long, long shower.
If the RLX's cabin filter is anything like the RL, changing the cabin filter takes a minute or two once you know what to do. I believe seanlin is looking for step by step instructions similar to those that can be found for the 2G RL on Acurazine. If you search cabin filter in the 2G RL forums, it should point you in the right direction as to the steps involved and you can hopefully make it work for your RLX. Hopefully a kind Acura tech will post technique and pictures for the RLX some day so that all RLX owners can avoid the official method described above.

Seanlin, this video is from an RL but I expect it is similar to the RLX. The filters are about $15 avg with varying grades (with charcoal, etc) so change it as you need. I change mine every summer after the heavy pollen season we have here. It takes seconds to pop out and inspect or replace. So pop it out periodically and take a look to see when yours looks due for change. If you live in a dusty / sandy climate you may need more often.

would be lucky if like the 4G TL - empty glove box, pull the shelve out, there is the filter door open, change filter

crxb is correct, the shelf pulls straight out, then remove the maintenance cover and pull out the pollen filter. The installation is exactly the reverse. should take 15 minutes or less.
By the way, the pollen filter should be replaced when the maintenance minder calls for a 2 service (replace engine air filter and pollen filter).
The Acura branded pollen filter is $37, but you should be able to find an aftermarket for $15 to $20.

Can someone give me a reference on a place from which to order a cabin air filter for my '14 RLX? Also, I see a FRAM CF10134 on Amazon, with lots of good reviews, but at least one reviewer said it doesn't fit a '14 RLX, although the FRAM site says it is the correct filter. Anyone have a favorite filter and/or supplier? Thanks.

EcoGuard
The dealership wanted to replace my 2 air filters and wanted over $100 so thought I would try to do it myself since everyone says that it is so simple.
Has anyone used EcoGard? The price seems awfully cheap for $5.13 so I am afraid that it might be too good to be true:
I am considering this FRAM one but it is over twice the price & not sure I need all the extras:
There are a lot less choices for the engine air filter but those prices are all pretty close. Not a lot of Amazon reviews for RLX filters - I guess bc it sells in such low numbers.
Thanks all!

Instead of giving the dealership ~$150, I decided to try and do it myself over the weekend. I spent ~$21 on Amazon & had them both installed in ~20 minutes.
The only thing that was kind of complicated was that there was no video of how to do the engine filter so I watched ones for MDX & TLX. Those seem to have clips to hold the cover but the RLX has 4 screws; 1 of which was a pretty tight fit to get to.
So glad that I saved myself over $100 on doing it myself.
On a side note, I did let the dealership handle my brake & transmission fluid change since I was @ 50k miles. Those are things I have skipped in the past but decided to treat the Acura.
