Not a lot of RLX owner that had issues with BSI. Taking the rear bumper off might be needed to inspect the BSI radar module. Any chance of a past accident/damage in that area? It could also rust, road muck build-up, or a bad/loose connect over time.

I went to the Acura dealer, they checked and said that I need to change the BSI right side radar. It costs $1100 at the dealer. Does anyone have any idea where to get it cheaper? thanks for the help.

maybe ask them for the part number and tell them you’d like to search online for a quote? then just pay them for the labor.

Did the unit just fail or was it some other problem like corrosion, water, or road salt issue with the unit or connection(s)?

It was corrosion, water, or road salt entered into the box.

Damn, these parts are EXPENSIVE! Not like my 2010 RL that I recently totaled. I need to get an extended warranty before something goes wrong!
