Brakes squealing

Did a search and didn't find anything about squealing brakes.

Mine started making that high-pitched squeal toward the end of my road trip a week ago. I didn't have any hard stops, and I don't ride the brakes or anything silly like that, and I haven't had a squealing brake problem in decades.

This one shows up at very low speeds, during the last 10-20 feet of a stop.

Anyone else noticed this?

Mine is doing the same thing at about 2500 miles.

Oddly enough, mine has stopped.

We made a trip to Phoenix, AZ about the time it started, and I now think some desert grit got in between the rotor and caliper of one of my brakes, and it's since left the scene.

I had the exact same problem from around 4k all the way to around 12k miles, and under the exact same conditions. Mainly in very heavy stop-n-go traffic.

I don't have exact accurate numbers as to when it stopped, but it doesn't happen anymore and has been like that for awhile now. Every once in a blue moon I'll get a squeal under the same condition, but gone for the most part.

So after 4 trips to the dealer, I finally figured my squeal out. One of the clips that go onto the caliper before the pads go on was rubbing on the rotor. The rubbing would only happen when the weather was warm and after sharp right turns. After the turn I would hear loud squealing on the left side of the car. This was at the front wheel. It was difficult to find because the noise seemed to be coming from the back.
