2016 PAWS with squeaky brakes

Think I have seen this mentioned on the earlier cars and not sure my issue is the same. After the brakes are warmed up and the when I slow to something around 10 MPH, or less I get squeaky brakes. Seems to be getting worse but not sure. Car has 2000 miles on it.

Thoughts,

I have had an issue with my '14 - electronic parking brake squeaks when setting. I have had the parking brake unit replaced twice. Took it back in for the third time and they have decided the squeak is now coming from the caliper piston. That is getting replaced now.

Well the dealer installed new pads. Said the old ones were glazed. Now the squeaking has been reduced but not gone completely. Suspect it will get worse as time goes on.(:

I had this same problem during the first 5k miles on my 2014 PAWS. It just eventually went away and hasn't come back since. I've only had my brakes replaced once during the 2+ years (54k miles) I've had the car so far. And that was due to some vibration/shimming I was getting not long after my accident back in Sept 2014. But even then, the problem has yet to ever resurface.

Seems to me some kind of wear-in / break-in period with the brake system during the first 5k miles. That's purely just an estimate based on my experience, so your mileage may very...pun intended

I had vibration from the brakes on my 2014 PAWS after only 20,000km and they machined my rotors under warranty but the problem has again returned with 26,000km (feel it predominantly when braking at higher speeds). I'm wondering if I have some issue with another brake component because it seems odd to again reappear so soon. I thought perhaps I was feeling the toeing in of the PAWS system but it can't be that.

interesting!!!!
one could try solving this on his own by doing some high speed braking!! as that's all the techs are doing, resurfacing or machining away the glazed rotor.

I wonder if improper break-in of the pads contribute to this problem
