armrest not closing without push

My 18 RLX SH's armrest requires a slight push at the rear to close it, pressing the button at the front doesn't slide back and close the compartment. anyone knows what may be wrong t?

There is a TSB for the 2016 year model and I am pretty sure that the center console armrest hasn't changed between the years:

TSB 16-024 - Center Console Lid Will Not Automatically Slide Close with Release Button
Applies To: 2016 RLX - ALL - From VIN JH4KC1F...GC000001 thru JH4KC1F...GC000408
2016 RLX Sport Hybrid - ALL - From VIN JH4KC2F...GC000001 thru JH4KC2F...GC000005

Thanks! Yes I found the TSB but it's only the 2016. I followed the instructions to take off the lid. Interestingly it can slide back after it's seperated. When i put it back it's basically the same thing. The only thing i did was adding some grease to the rail and it seemed to help a bit if i .give some downward pressure while pressing the button
