Turn off Engine all Audio/Phone turns off
I have a 2016 RLX and whenever I turn off the engine (hit the start/stop button) all the audio and if using hands free phone turns off?? When I'm driving and using the hands free phone, if I get home and park and want to continue talking on the phone I need to keep the engine running..Isn't there a way to keep the radio/phone working and just shut off the engine (like turning the ignition key to ACC mode).. Very frustrating..

Burning Brakes
I believe to access accessory mode, you press the start button WITHOUT having your foot on the brake. What I don't know is the magic to return to accessory mode when turning the car off, or to keep from hanging up on your call. I think Acura has a hands free help desk called HandsFreeLink. Might be worth a try. I found this number, 888-528-7876 if you don't get an answer here. Good luck.

Just hit the transfer button on the touch screen to transfer the call back to your handset and then turn off your car.
I used to sit in my driveway with the car running when I was on the phone until I figured that out - now I just transfer the call back to my phone when I pull in my garage and then turn the car off once the call is live on my handset.... HTH.

^ I know what you're saying. If you put the car in park and push the start button it shuts everything off. It would be annoying if it didn't since you'd then have to push the button more than once when turning off the car in order to get it to completely shut off. However, with the TL, you can shut the engine off while still keeping accessory mode on by shifting into Neutral rather than Park, then pressing the start button as normal to shut down the engine. At that point, you can shift into Park if you want and Accessory mode will still stay on. Or just hang out in Neutral with the emergency brake on. However, when you restart the car it will kick you out of accessory mode and disconnect the Bluetooth and take about 15 seconds to reconnect. So if you need to restart, let the person know that they'll have about a 15 second gap before you get reconnected. Either that or go to headset mode.

I was not aware of any other 'key' vehicle I've had in the past, where I could put the car into accessory mode when it was running - outside of turning the car off with the key and then putting it back into accessory mode. So the RLX in practice is no different.
