Not Able To Import Phonebook
Ever since I downloaded the newest iOS for my iPhone I have been getting this message each time I start the car: Not able to import phone book. Any ideas how to keep this from coming up each time I start the car?

Have you tried deleting the Bluetooth device on both your iPhone and the car, and trying to set it up again?

They added more granular control in the iPhone. Go to the Bluetooth settings on the phone and hit the 'i' button. You should double check that the phone is granting permission to the car to access the phonebook.

This error popped up in my car yesterday such that contacts could not be automatically uploaded from my iPhone 6+ to the car after three months of connection bliss.
After finding this thread, I deleted the iPhone from the car and the Handsfree link from my phone. I then re-paired the phone. All is now good again.
Thanks for this thread!

It's odd that this happens sometimes. A couple of days ago, it happened to me.
The only thing unusual that has happened is that I paired my phone to a loaner TLX, and then had to re-pair it to my RLX.
Didn't seem to quite "take" the first time....

And of course every time I re-pair my iPhone, I forget to turn on notifications in the Bluetooth settings.

That jogs my memory. This started after I paired my iPhone with the loaner MDX I had over the weekend! Sounds like we discovered a bug to be sorted out.

It's not going to make sense to most devices. It certainly doesn't make sense to iPhone iOS. :-)
Your only option is to tell your iPhone to "forget" the link before you get into the other car, and then re-pair after deleted a previous iPhone connection in the second car (!!) and then remembering to say that you want to receive notifications in the new line (!!), but that assumes that the option to receive notifications even shows up, and it might not show up the first time (!!).
If you have more than one modern Acura in your fleet, this is bound to be very annoying and I wonder why nobody ever thought that you'd need to identify a HandsfreeLink(1) and HandsfreeLink(2) every once in a while.
I know that people can't think of everything, but this one seems a little obvious.

Also, for whatever this is worth, I will experience the relatively minor bug of not importing the phone book and previous calls.
I don't know why this would happen every once in a while. If I've switched away from the Phone screen and come back to it at some point, I might very well notice that it has all imported some point later, a few minutes later.
No idea.
I'm calling it a minor bug because the Bluetooth connection works fine otherwise, and of course all you have to do is to use Siri to get the phone to do what you want while it's connected to the car.

Cruisin'
I will randomly get an error that the car was unable to import call history. It happens once a week or so. I just figured it was because I am still using my Blackberry Z30.
