Map Update

I just received an offer from Acura Navigation. They'll provide me the 2018 Map update for $99.00, that's $50.00 off the regular price.

I tend to use my iPhone for navigation.

Any thoughts on the value of the Acura Map update?

See my post - https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-rlx-...hanged-969764/ - if you are coming from a 2016 or earlier map, when you update with the 2018 map update you WILL lose some voice commands...and there is no way to revert back.

Really appreciate the reply. I went back and re-read your thread. My car is a 2017, so, I suspect I've already lost the commands you lost. I'll take a look. Just not sure I want to turn loose of $99 for a one year upgrade.

I have a 2014 and did the update. To me it was worth it since I was still on the original database. For a 2017 I think I would keep the coin and update in another 2 years unless you live in an area that is under development constantly. My choice was mainly to keep the software up to date as opposed to actual functionality if that makes any sense.
