Hi there. I posted another thread, but no responses. So I want to ask the question a different way.

Is anyone having trouble with the compass not showing true directions? I mean when your going north, does it actually say north? Mine says NNW consistently.

The dealer is saying all the cars are like this and I just cant imagine a $60K plus car that the compass would be off.

I've never noticed any problem but that could be that I'm not paying enough attention.

So the dealer is saying that our compasses are magnetic, not satellite GPS? That seems odd, with all the attached gadgetry we're dealing with.

 

The TLX's manual provides a recalibration procedure for its compass. You might want to see if it works for the RLX:

Thanks! I will try that and see if it works. Its interesting, but they dont have anything in the manual to recalibrate it like it is in this manual. My car is at the dealer getting the suspension looked at, but when I get it back I will try it.
