Acuralink aha vs Lexus Enform
^^^ Most reviewers are so dumb that few could actually articulate it in an effective manner. Can you sense my dislike for car reviewers? (lol)
I'd rather get feedback from real people like "seanlin" who can then provide the feedback to other members. I have learned much more about cars here than any car review I ever read (online or magazine). The only person I respect as a car reviewer is a French Canadian TV car review program (called RPM and hosted by Pierre Michaud) who, and I am not sure why, has earned my respect over the years

Dumb question on Acuralink, on the web site they show the aha integration with you cell phone, but does the RLX have on-star like get a person and ave them send directions to the car kind of stuff? Or des everything rely on the owners cell phone for connections?
Here is how I get my aha work:
1. Get Acuralink account setup - of course.
2. Intall iphone app acuralink streams.
3. start the app on iphone and configure your favor stations.
4. start aha and everything works good.

I love that feature with OnStar. Before I leave I will look up a location and send it to my car. Once I get in the car the destination is entered in the navigation and it's all ready for me.
The other feature I love is the remote start from the app. It comes in handy when you are out of range of the fob. When I am getting ready to leave at the end of the day I will send the signal to remote start the car. By the time I walk to the other side of the building and across the parking lot the car is warm/cooled and the heated/cooled seats are activated depending on the outside temperature. A friend of mine who has a CTS will send the signal when he is on the train two stops before his stop. Once he gets off his train his car is waiting for him heated/cooled.
When I bought my '06 RL it came with a year free of OnStar. I never used the service, but based on the features I just mentioned above, I renewed it when my complimentary year expired with my CTS.
Can you search for a location from the mobile app and then send it to the in-dash navigation?

Don't laugh I was thinking the same thing when I saw those screen shots. Very impressive. It actually has me leaning toward getting a TL and then jumping to a TLX in 2 years because I assume the TLX will have all this as well.
I did some reach and took a look of MBZ and BMW in-car app yesterday.
Here is what I think so far:
1. AcuraLink: Easy to use with touch screen in RLX.
2. MBZ: (google local search with streetview is very cool, but in-car app load time kinda slow)
3. Lexus: Clean look, but not many functions. Maybe they will have more update later.
3. BMW: Phone can get info from the car like Acura. The in-car app interface only text. Too simple.

Pretty cool. Here are some screenshots from the OnStar mobile app.
Keep in mind that my car doesn't have CUE which supports Pandora and such, although I have been told that I can play Pandora off of my phone through the iPod/iPhone integration.
I will have to check it out.

Seriously, they need to figure out how to create a 'demo' account for sales consultants. NONE of us have (to my knowledge) had an opportunity to try it out in person yet.
True, that is one thing about Lexus. You go to a Lexus dealer and they have dedicated demo cars for test drives and they all have Enform and the sales staff always gives excellent demos highlighting the features of the personal assistant. Infiniti has had their Infiniti Connection setup and every time I go,and ask for a demo I am given a brochure. Lexus really has the sales process very well tuned. Infinit and Acura should take notes and learn.
