Well…what a nice throwback. Since the beginning of this thread, I’ve owned a SECOND RLX SH, sold that for an Integra Type S, which frankly is a better car for enthusiastic driving, and on top of that bought a third Sport Hybrid a couple months ago, and which is the Sport Hybrid I actually wanted in the first place:

Comment on share price and who deserves what, no point in such comment on this forum... My advice is to all, do not let politics govern your way of living and making choices.
While the previous administration had "green deal," many blue states ran to buy EVs, including Teslas... now all of a sudden no blue state likes EVs, just because Elon is discovering obvious money laundering schemes. Point is, they all change in a snap of a finger, what they preach, what they stand for, because they are POLITICIANS...

Bingo. And well said. I don't buy my products (or live my life) based on the people who run a company, nor do I buy my cars based on the stock market. CEOs change, and so does the market. I buy products that suit me and only me.

Wow! Now THAT is one ICE (or hybrid) that I would definitely still get into. Maybe one day in the not too distant future...

I'm still driving and LOVING my 2014 RLX Sport Hybrid. I am overdue for a replacement, but Acura is dragging their feet on building me a suitable new car. I have zero regrets and would definitely buy the RLX Sport Hybrid again (if Acura is monitoring this forum...take a hint)

To neuronbob, NICE!! SWEET!!!! I'm gushing with envy.

I'm in a 2019 SH-AWD, which is my third RLX. Nearly everything I want in a sedan. At this point, I have no plans to sell, but if Honda reintroduced the model, I would buy one. Even without Car Play.

You may feel that way, but a lot of people don't want to buy vehicles from a company whose owner gives Nazi salutes (or something obviously intended to look like them), calls Social Security a Ponzi scheme, donates $250 million to his preferred presidential candidate and then installs himself as a fixture in the White House, goes to Germany to openly support the political party with Nazi roots, etc., etc. This is not about "politics"--not by a long shot. If we're giving advice to all, mine is to choose, whenever possible, not to reward unethical, criminal, un-American, or anti-democratic behavior with your business.

Dude, just get lost with any political crap on this forum, wrong place, wrong time, wrong everything from start to end... no one wants to listen to your brain dump here, so knock it off, and try to live a life a little without politics consuming you.

LOL Who wrote that for you? All of a sudden you're writing in colloquial American English--well, not quite, so I take that back. You're the one who started blathering about politics--blue states, "green deal" [sic], etc. I was talking about Elon Musk and his fascism. He's not a politician. A lot of people agree with me about him, as the trend in Tesla's global sales makes clear. Buy Acura, people--and speak out against fascists! There is no forum in which it is inappropriate to say this. It needs to be said more and more, including to our families and friends.

OMG drop it dude. No one here cares. And if you think there aren't products you own by companies with leaders who are just as bad (or worse) than Elon...then you're only fooling yourself. Elon just happens to not care that his laundry is aired.

I don't like Elon, but im not going to just suddenly upend my life and sell my car because the CEO has gone nuts. Company leaders come and go. Get over it FFS.

Listen to you two, "OMG," "FFS," "get lost dude," etc. Obviously someone here cares or it wouldn't have come up. I'm not telling anyone to sell their car or to do anything they don't want to do. I get the situation that Tesla owners are in, and that some of them (not all, obviously) regret buying their cars but might not be able to sell them. What I said was that I wouldn't buy one, and why. You give me one example of a corporate leader as bad as or worse than Musk, one who has as much money and power and has donated hundreds upon hundreds of millions to a politician and installed himself in the government and is attacking judges and other officials he doesn't like and has depicted the prime minister of Canada as a Nazi on his very own social media network, and I'll be glad to take note. That's all I have to say, unless someone wants to continue this conversation.

Love the picture of the NSX and would really want to add to my stable after I win the lottery (the Type-S is my fav). I know I would get into too much trouble if I had one.

I did a father and son vacation in Las Vegas and we headed off to the Speedway to hot laps of sports cars at Dream Racing. My picks was the NSX and Porsche GT3 (I was too tall at 6'3" for the Lamborghini Huracan). My son picked the Audi R8 V10, and Ferrari 488 GTB. The NSX was very roomy, comfortable, and easy to drive hard. I can see it being able to handle daily driver duties and scream on track days on the weekend. Amazing how it works and the amount of engineering that was shared between the MDX and RLX Sport Hybrids. Hopefully, Acura's sport hybrid powertrain isn't going to collect dust on shelf forever and they bring out version 2 soon.
