The RLX and my wife's MDX have an overhead console spotlight that shines down on the shifter and cupholder center console. Does anyone know what type of bulb that is?

I was thinking about adding something similar to my pickup truck that does not have the overhead spotlight.

 

I would guess it is an LED but a very low voltage one.

 

It's "ambient lighting" by a focused LED - you'll find them in footwells, shining on the console, etc. My MDX has the same thing. Very very low power and low light- not noticeable at all until it's dark in the car......

 

I was wondering if there is a bulb number for the lights as I want to add them to a vehicle that does not currently have that feature.

 

Notice the ambient lighting is yellow for the overhead console and foot wells for my 18 RLX. The lighting is blue for my 19 MDX in the same areas and it includes lighting of the inside door pull handle area. My 19 MDX also has regular white light in the front foot well area when you open the doors along with the blue ambient lighting at night (upgraded the MDX front foot well to even brighter LEDs). I would love to change out the RLX to the blue ambient lighting and add additional white lighting to the foot-wells with my ebony interior at night. Looks like a cave in my RLX with ebony and tinted windows at night.
