O'my it's ours now, we got it
Hello all, well I'm on board with you fine folks now. We drove it home this evening. Thought I was glossing on a cloud, what a ride. Sure will have more questions coming but thanks for all that helped me along the way.
Welcome to the family, and congrats on your RLX! I hope you have many pleasurable and safe miles with it. I had a 2015 RLX P-AWS for more than half a year, before i traded it in for the SH. It was flawless, and also white......
Congrats, welcome and don't look back.
Lot's of details in the RLX forum to search for, a LOT of details in the manuals (the e-copy is much easier to search) and we'll do our best to help you settle.
Enjoy the ride. A new owner always energizes the forum. This group tends to share the excitement with every new owner / member. Some VERY good people here.

Not sure what that is other than all wheel drive, we live in Atlanta an really have no use for that much handling, definitely don't get on the pedal or drive aggressively. But having said that we never even test drove one, so probably a good thing from what I read.
Welcome aboard outdoor!
In regard to the difference with between the Sport Hybrid and the PAWS it is primarily the power and handling. Most of the Sport Hybrid drivers, including me, appreciate a performance type drive. Not that most of us go around drag racing the car but just like to be able to have the ability have some extra acceleration and take the curves on twisty road a little bit faster on occasion. It isn't just a more powerful engine. The addition of the electric motors provide an instant surge of power the doesn't exist in a normal ICE. The sensation of instant acceleration is unique and different than I had ever driven before. Words don't really explain the feeling you get. You just have to experience it to appreciation it. That is why most of us with the Sport Hybrid became smitten with the car after a test drive. The interior is identical to the PAWS so it has the same luxury as your car. The big plus is that you get superior acceleration and terrific handling due to the torque vectoring from the electric motors which drive the rear wheels. A small bonus is that you get additional gas mileage. The only downside is that the trunk is smaller because of the twin motor unit and the room the batteries take.
The PAWS RLX is a great car that's had a rocky start with a few glitches that eventually got fixed. Enjoy your ride. Keep posting here and you will find answers to your questions from an informed and helpful community.

I have a feeling that the regular P-AWS RLX is going to be one of those odd cars like the '92-'96 Accord that goes 500,000 miles without problems.

Congrats again on a great buy. If I could do it over again I would have kept my TL longer and waited for the incredible used prices the RLX go for instead of having paid MSRP for a less than stellar experience which has severely marred my ownership experience. For the prices you guys are paying for them used, its a tremondous value that can't be matched by any other car on the market today.
As one new paws owner to another welcome! We've only had our RLX for a month and it's been terrific. I don't know what the reviewers at Consumer Repots and Edmonds were driving (or smoking) but their descriptions don't match ours. The steering feel, handling (even with paws) and acceleration are great. We'll be taking our first road trip in a couple of weeks and I'll post my impressions and pics then.
Again welcome to the club.
Cheers,
George

Thank you all for the welcomes, nothing like meeting new folks and passing on good info. And yes we had a heck of a time finding one with the right color combo for the wife. I'm with you old coastie, beats me what those people were driving. Best ride this old southern boy has rode in, then again I've never rode in a super expensive high in car.
See here for more details: Acura RLX gets chassis upgrades, AcuraWatch for 2016/
Quoted:
"Additional Enhancements for 2016 RLX
To improve overall ride and handling quality and reduce noise, vibration and harshness (NVH), the chassis of the 2016 RLX has received multiple tuning refinements. Both the front and rear shock absorbers get an increase in piston rod diameter and the rear stabilizer bar's stiffness is decreased. The front and rear spring rates and shock absorber damping force were all decreased to provide better shock absorption and road surface tracking. Furthermore, the front upper spring/shock mounts and rear bump stops were changed for improved action."
They would not have gone through the effort to make such changes if there wasn't a real problem.
