How's the oil consumption?

I've been watching the dip stick because of the more or less quiet factory support for excessive oil consumption with the direct injection J Motors, on both the Honda and Acura sides.

But I'm coming up on the second oil change, 15K miles, and absolutely zero oil consumption so far.

Hey George, I have 31.7K on mine and not a drop below the "F" mark, and that includes cruising at 80/90 for 1000 miles.


Unbelievable power package..

 

Just changed the oil on the RLX this morning at 11,090 mi. Second oil change. Bought used in Mar '14 w/ 3K mi. Dumped oil then since it was a Jan '13 build, and I wasn't sure if dealer had changed the oil or not.

Anyway, oil level was right at the top of the grid on the dipstick this morning before I drained the pan. No noticeable oil loss. Kinda surprised me since I remembered the MDX ('10 model traded in on RLX) had burned over half a quart by the first oil change. It later settled in and didn't burn any oil after that, though.

 

No oil loss here.

 

I just did my first oil change at 3k yesterday and I was missing over 1qt of oil found it weird im going to monitor it every two weeks see if i see anything happen again
