ECU/PCM/PGM Updates

FYI - while I had my RLX in earlier this week for the headlight recall, I asked the service center to check for any possible software updates to the vehicle.

Not sure if they are recent or not, but there were 3 updates applied to the car. My service rep indicated they were ECU updates that addressed some areas of the fuel-injection and transmission. My paperwork doesn't get into details other than a line that indicates "Completed three PGMFI software update"

Would love to get more details on what the updates were. Just thought I'd put it out there for everyone to have it checked on your next service visit.

Already ahead of you. That is going to be performed when mine goes back in for the new shock/struts.

Sport Hybrid - I'm a little confused. Could you tell us which TSBs (including for suspension issues) your dealer feels can or should be applied to the Hybrid. My dealer shows none except for the wind-noise (and the headlight recall), and I see no new ones. Or are these software updates that don't appear as TSBs (and if so, what are they called)? Thanks. I'm due to get my headlights this week and I will inquire about them.

I wish I could provide that info, but I don't know the answer. I do not know if I have the most up to date software. I assume I do but I don't know how often they change these things. I have not figured out how to know what my configuration numbers are. I also don't know if my strut/shock repair is related to a particular TSB or just a "one off". I am not trying to be evasive, but I really don't know how to answer your question. Sorry about that.

I expect a call from the dealer next week that my parts are in. They told me they would make me a priority and get me in quickly. So I have nothing to report until then.

No problem. I meant let us know after your work is done. Should be on your repair order. Thanks!
