On Friday, I picked up my new RLX Advance and I'm really enjoying it. Immediately after starting the car, the sound system generates a four-note chime while the screens display AcuraLink and Krell Audio logos. The salesman told me that he is unaware of any way to program the settings to avoid the start-up music. Has anyone figured out how to do that?

I hear that same chime at the Cabo resort I go to when the elevator doors open. Must be a Windows-based built-in chime.

By the way, sometimes I couldn't hear the very first note.
Maybe sound system was not ready or what? Anyone???

 

yes, you can disable it. it's in the system settings.
