What problems are you having with the latest system update??
I just did the latest system update. As was the case with the previous two updates I now have a new problem. When I search “folders” on my USB memory stick I can find the folders and the albums (sub-folders) within them but I can no longer see any songs within the folders or play them. The “folders” icon is now useless. BTW the “folders” icon is located on page 2 after selecting “search”. You cannot edit the location of the icon, an issue that also existed in the previous system update.
I also found out that after the update any custom icon locations you made to the home screen are lost. You will need to make them again.
I now get more random disconnects with carplay than before. Never had an issue prior to the update with disconnects. I hate to see the issues I get with the new iphone coming out.
After the update I am still getting conflicting directions between the main display and the HUD and Dash. After multiple trips to the dealer and a “tech line” case I was told that there was no fix and I had to wait for a system update. Well, I waited and it is still an issue. I must say I’m not surprised because past update just created more problems. Acura should hire some software engineers that know what they are doing !! I have had nothing but problems with the infotainment system for the 15 months that I have had this lemon. The good news is that In 21 months My lease is up and I can bid farewell to Acura forever. I feel sorry for the next owner. Nav display info AFTER the latest system update.
I have been on 1.1.4 for about three weeks now (did a factory reset (from the screen) after the update), and I have not experienced any new issue, however, the "old" issues that I still have are - USB drive initializing message when restarting the car with the "playing music from USB drive" at default. Unplug/replug the drive would fix it. - With playing FM at default (navigation at main screen), after restarting the car, when changing station with the thumb wheel, I could only change between the first two favorites. This happened three times now and manually selecting a favorite with the touchpad fixes it.

I normally don't put the Navigation on the dash, but I did it this morning just to see if I could duplicate your issue.
Yes, I was able to duplicate the issue and it looks like this would happen, if you do not follow the Navigation's direction.
For example, Navigation told me to turn right on the next street (11th street), but I didn't and continued to travel on the current street. A few seconds later, the Navigation on the infotainment screen automatically found a new route and provided a new instruction to turn on the next street.
However, the Navigation on the dash still showed that I need to turn right on the 11th street. When I finally got back to the 11th street and turned right, the dash Navigation then updated the instruction, which matches the Navigation on the infotainment screen.
I now get "System Error:..." on the HUD EVERY time I start the car when I use the left thumb wheel to change channels in XM rather than sometimes. The only work around is to change the channel with the touch pad. The left thumb wheel then begins to work. I also lost some presets on the radio, and the real time traffic doesn't work properly. Talking to Tech Support at AHC, they said they will have a fix sometime this winter. This is the same BS I was told last year when I complained the same issue. AHC is horrible.
I had the rear cross traffic alert correctly pop on while I was backing up......and stay on. About twenty minutes of driving later I happened to reverse again, and then it corrected itself. Never had that problem with the original firmware.
I continue to be frustrated by this same gremlin, which Acura says in their update documentation was fixed in D1.1.2...NOT!
The quick fix is to use the on/off button on the left side of the steering wheel - turn the audio system off and back on, wait a couple seconds, and voila! it works again. Til the next time you start the car that is.
I plugged my phone in for the first time in months and tried to use car play and I thought the car was going to blow up. I unplugged immediately, how stupid was I to try to use this functional. The screen died then came back. I couldn’t push any buttons or even turn it off. A message popped up saying driving mode options were unavailable. The screen was flickering, no sound came out of anything. I turned the car off and back on and it stayed stuck. Today it started flickering again without even having anything plugged in. I did the factory reset to see if that might help. Ridiculous.
Oh and my navigation will show the street I am on on the heads up display instead of the street I need to turn on, like on the main display.
My experience after repeatedly contacting Client Relations has clearly demonstrated it is a total waste of time. The people you talk to are note takers and have no first hand knowledge. Very frustrating!

Mine too. I also have a problem starting with FM playing that it only cycles my first 2 presets. The rest are completely missing unless I turn the radio off or switch sources and come back to FM.
