Today while running errands, I stopped the car in order to retrieve a propane tank. I could not open the tailgate with either the key fob or the tailgate button above the license plate. It finally opened when I used the release button on the inside of the driver's door. I have already posted a video of the tailgate opening by simply walking past the rear of the car with the key fob in hand and without pressing any buttons. Does this mean one failure cancels out the other?
