Bring it to the dealer as there is a technical service bulletin for it.

I mainly open the glass roof when the RDX was parked under the sun for a long period of time to rid off the hot air inside.
Yesterday, the glass roof would not keep closed when pressing the auto-close. It would close and then open back up again.
Luckily, I was able to close it by continue to press and hold the close switch. This morning, it would close correctly from time to time, but not always. Going to see dealer tomorrow...

Just got back from the dealer and the Tech lubed and reprogrammed the glass roof and sunshade and all is working well.

Made an appointment for Monday. I held the open roof glass button all the way through the cycle 2 times, turned off car and could then close shade. Opened shade again.....stuck open.

I had that issue the first day I got my RDX. For me they first tried calibrating but didn’t work. Then found out the sunroof frame was bent and replaced that. But over time it keeps loosing calibration and end up replacing the sunroof switch/ module .

Opened the sunshade today. Tried to close it and it won't move. 2020 RDX with 2k miles on it. I opened the roof maybe half a dozen times since buying it and already there is a problem. Ridiculous.

The fix is pretty simple for this (not the best written instructions), but I was unable to get the reset to work. Off to the dealership...

I have a 2019 A-Spec RDX. I brought it to the dealer over a month ago because the sunroof was dead. They are STILL trying to figure out how to fix it! They have replaced every part including the motor and entire frame!
They say the TSB is not related to the problem on my car. I really don’t think they have any clue. They keep telling me they are waiting for parts! Most troubling, Acura corporate doesn’t seem to care either, they have done nothing other than call the dealer a few days after I called them!

FRUSTRATING!

Today is day 37 and the dealer said it was ready to go. NOT! I get down there and the sunroof clearly does not align properly and some of the rubber mounding is sticking up at various points around the perimeter! They say they can fix it tomorrow.
Acura customer service has been absolutely no help! Come on Acura, we all know you can do better!

It turns out there is a known issue with the RDX sunroof. The manufacturer has redesigned some parts to correct the problem. The problem now is there is a LONG backlog of cars at dealerships across the country needing this fix! I finally got my car back on the 38th day!!

Same issue, sometimes works, sometimes not

I'm paranoid about this stupid sunroof not closing. Is there a tech bulletin on this or some kind of recall?

I made the mistake of using my sunshade again and it is stuck open. I think I've only used it 10x in the last year, but its going back to the dealership for a repair. The previous repair was a complete replacement of the motor control unit.
