Hi All,

My wife just bought a 2019 rdx aspex couple weeks ago and we notice the following:

-Changing the preset Radio station using the thumbwheel on the steering wheel. she gets a “system error, function unavailable”. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't has a mind of its own.

-Apple play/ blue-booth-- I notice this happens within 2 mins of the conversation where the other caller cant hear but we can.

-AC was set to 68 and hot air was blowing. I turned it down to low and increased the speed to max and that's when it started working properly.

If you had any of the following please let me know and the fix they did. I have an appointment set for tomorrow 5/14/19 for them to review all my concerns. I will keep everyone updated with the outcome.

Yes, many of us here have experienced this and there is no solution at this time. You can find similar posts of this issue under "my infotainment freak out moment".
We are all waiting for the next system update, for now, I would suggest that you have the dealer check if you have the latest system update (version D1.1.2)and then do a factory reset from the menu of the infotainment system (this will erase all preset stations and favorites in Navigation, and put all settings back to factory default).

After that, don't use Apple CarPlay and many have issue with it when connected to RDX infotainment system. I would also try not to put Navigation on the main screen unless you are actually using it. This would reduce the possibility of causing issue, at least from my own experience.

@Pistor27 ...two things you can do:

1. Do a FULL FACTORY RESET which will have a dramatic impact on your radios operation (there is already a ton of discussion on this forum so not going to repeat myself)
2. Sign up for the class action lawsuit to share your disappointment with the technology which there is also a thread on in this section

I have experienced all of these things.
1st: I’ve realized that if you change presets with the touchpad first, then the scroll wheel on the steering wheel will work
2nd: I don’t know if a fix besides just unplugging the car from USB and putting the phone up to your ear.
3rd: I’ve realized that the AC is weird. Even though I change the temp from 72 to 68 the fan speed barely changes and I have to put it down almost to the LO setting to get any air.
I hope software updates in the future fix these things!
Always make sure your software is up to date! The infotainment in this car is good but buggy

My wife just told me today she is experiencing the issues with the bluetooth as you describe she can hear but folks on the call can't ...frustrating.
