Can someone help me? I just picked up a 2021 RDX aspec, it needs some tlc. I was detailing the interior and I noticed the rear trim piece has a hole. I looked in it, and the rear cargo led is sitting inside of it. How do I fix that?

Here’s a picture of it. It’s shining inside the hole. Is there supposed to be a clip that holds it in place?

 

That is a great tool but the grabber claw is shown as 1 inch so it might not even go into to hole.

Or a piece of wire coat hanger...why is this so hard?

 

According to the website the minimum diameter of the collapsed claw is 15/64 of an inch, so essentially a 1/4 inch. I said it was a great tool but at $18 the OP needs to make it at least will go into the hole.

 

I figured it out. I didn’t have to take every panel off to get to it. Just two. And plus that claw thing wouldn’t have worked. The lens is the exact size of the hole and the box behind it, seats in clips that hold it in place.
