Intercooler hose blew off?
I searched the RDX forum and didn’t find anyone else commenting about experiencing this, but our 2020 RDX suffered a disconnected intercooler hose.
As I turned a corner and hit the accelerator, the car’s power sagged a bit.
There was somewhat limited power during our 40+ mile drive, and upon starting the car up for our return trip the whole dash lit up. Every warning light for every system lit up.
Although the engine ran fine, there was very minimal power. I commented that it seemed like the turbo was not active, and the dealer confirmed the next day that an intercooler hose had come disconnected.
I’m glad it was such a simple problem to remedy.
