Hello all, my brand new RDX has a busted AC.

Couple months ago I drove to a store and when I got back in the car, pressed Auto on the climate, nothing happens. The cooling seats would work but nothing from the vents, front or back. The first time this happened, I simply power cycled and was fine until yesterday.

Same story, but no amount of power cycling helped. No doubt it's warrantied, but it'll be a couple weeks before I can get it in the dealer.

I was supposed to have a nice drive up to STL to see a concert, instead it sat at home. Obviously I was pretty disappointed.

If I press the AC button to turn the compressor off, air will come through the vents but only when driving.

Otherwise, the blower does not work at all.

I put it in self diagnosis and found this error

Any input is appreciated, is it just the blower or resistor, or do I have another issue going on?

 

Take it to the dealer, you have a warranty for this reason.

 

ya no kidding, just wanted some insight in case anyone had a thought.
