2013 ILX AC going out.
2013 ILX AC going out.
Hey all.
Well it's been 3 years now and car ran perfect. First issue is the AC. It isn't completely out.
Yesterday I went to the store and when I got in my car to drive there the AC wouldnt kick on. I messed with the dials and turned it on and off as well the car before driving to the store with no AC.
30 minutes later I get back to my car, turn it on (I guess I left the AC still on even though it wasnt working) and it started up no issues.
Today everything was fine thus morning. Woke up early to drive my room mate to the train station. No issues. Back home, 2 hours later, leave for work, no issues.
8 hours later I get off work and AC wont start. Within 2 minutes of my house (15 minute communte) AC turns on.
wtf
I know Acura will want the problem to be currently active to try and fix anything so I guess Im stuck with this until it decided to completely die.

Dang, only 3 years and it have problems already. My RSX didn't have problems until the 8th years and that was due to rust and other weather shit.
There might be a leak somewhere or loose connections. Thanks to my RSX, replacing the radiator which the AC radiator (check for cracks) also sit next to it so I have an idea of what's wrong. Check those first. Also try adding AC freon and see if it helps activate the AC.
