Just got mine installed at the dealer while getting an oil change/rotation/rear diff fluid swap/brake tsb handled. Should be on the road with it soon. Really need a BBK soon, front rotors have hot spots all the way around.

No, the cat is built into the downpipe which bolts to the turbo and precedes this pipe in the exhaust. This just replaces the factory flat/pancake "B pipe" with a larger and better flowing 3"->dual 2"->3" pipe. The two smaller pipes are for clearance since the RDX runs this under the subframe where all other modern turbo Honda cars run it over the subframe.
For anyone else curious, I've noticed no additional noise or vibration in the car since installation and possibly a little more power but it's hard to tell.
Just curios why you all changed these out? The oldest of gen 3 is not that old and I thought this stuff lasted fairly long.
This was swapped for additional performance, no concern with longevity on the factory part. I've got an upgraded turbo, intercooler, intake, downpipe and some other things and would like to free up any additional power. This was the next logical piece without introducing the noise of an aftermarket exhaust, which I have no plans for currently.

let me know if you need a bbk bro 💯 ill put in a word for you
I’d be curious to see what would happen if you cut the function werk pipe and the catback and just make it dual exhaust all the way from the front pipe back rather than it splitting, then joining to one then splitting agin. Or put in an X pipe?
