Does anyone know what the stock boost levels are? Just trying to compare stock vs stage 3 ktuner which has a boost target of 24-24.5. Has anyone seen the stock tune boost reach that high?

Stock is about 15-16 psi
24 is about the max on a stock turbo pump gas
28 is max without 4 bar map sensors and an upgraded turbo
im running 32 psi with meth injection and 93 octane MHI turbo

 

Dam 32 psi. Must be a monster.

Peak boost is 20.5 psi. Not sure how long it holds that level. Most turbos hold max boost for only a few seconds and then back off several PSI for sustained acceleration runs.

To add: Civic Type R is 23.3 psi

 

There's a Ktuner Stage 3? I only see a Stage 2.

 

They mean Phearable Stage 3 for KTuner.

I want to flash KTuner Stage 2 to my 2022 Advance ASPEC so badly but the whole warranty and possibly bricking my car scares the shit out of me..haha. and that's coming from someone who has worked with computers for years and used to root and mod phones.

The idea of ruining daily driver freaks me out.

 

I too a SW developer, I have been running maxed out ktuner for a couple years no prob. Reading about hi test guys running this rdx setup over 400 HP, I don't worry about the engine and tranny. I have a daily driver and only red line once on a while. The engine has more usable torque in the mid range which is why I like it. Revs up, take the corner, that's what I say.

 

Still no issues after 65000 miles

 

Looks like a sub 5-second 0-60 time. That must be fun.

How “dangerous” is the stage 2 tune?

I’d like to bump up the person my 2020 SH-AWD but I really don’t know much about tunes and all the computer stuff

Was it the 2 gallon universal you went with from Burger? Tank Link or was it one of the BMW specific models that happens to fit under the trunk of our vehicles well? Did you mount your tank under the trunk floor? I'm going to essentially replicate your setup in the next couple of months and a w/m kit is the last part. I'm planning to use Speed sauce plus with a 500cc nozzle per Derek's recommendation.

 

BMS 2 gallon tank with built in pump mount-
