The volume of the warning beep is very loud.......especially when out in the country with less ambient noise. Any way to disable this or muffle it. I saw on an MDX forum that some people were applying tape over the "buzzer" to cut the sound down.
Anyone try to do this yet? If so, how do I access the buzzer?

 

I've read this on mdx forums also, but don't know where the speaker is on our 19 RDX. I'd like to muffle this down as well.

 

Agree. There are so many setting you can customize, but that tailgate beeping is not one of them. It is too loud for me as well.

 

+1 on this. I feel like I'm waking up the entire neighborhood when I get home late. I've looked throughout the manual and can't find any mention of the tailgate beep.

This is great! I have a 2016 RDX not a 2019 but I have the same issue of the loud beeps. I suspect it's probably a very similar fix for a 2016. Will have to check it out. Thanks!
