Living in the desert is almost as bad on carpeting as salt and snow….so, it was time to treat my wife and me with some new carpet mats. I think Lloyd’s produces the best, so I went with them again. I purchased through CarID, but you can order them anywhere….almost….

Obviously they are the exact same size (though much deeper pile) so everything fits in just fine.

 

Definitely not a fan , but whatever blows your hair back.

the oem aspec carpeted oem mats with the red border are just enough flash for me

 

I have the Lloyd’s mats in black for the floors and cargo area. Love them. They’re so thick that they provide extra sound deadening.

 

Hmmm…my OEM mats are black with black. Definitely flashy on yours……

It looks like Honda has adopted my “French whore house” theme for the new Type R……I wonder if I get royalties…..

 

They are bringing the red carpet to the Type-R in the US after all this time. That was a hallmark on all of the previous R versions sold in Japan.
