Floor Mat Treatment?

I have tan floor mats for my TSX. Want to keep them as clean and protected as possible (and still leave 'em in the car ) Any recommendations of products to apply to the mats, etc? Thanks!

Yeah, install the all-weather mats on top of the original mats.

The mounting hole on the front all-weather mat will go over the floor mat retainer. You might need to move it around a bit but it will fit. Keeping the original mats provides a little cushion for your feet.

Nillah,

You may want to post your question in Off Topic / Wash & Wax.

I have the same mats. I just vacuum mine but I agree, they pick up dirt rather easy. Maybe we should use a wash product and then scotchguard.

I have the ExactMats in my car. Too reflective and slippery, not invisible like they claim. But it does protect, so I give it that. You can basically make a set out of the plastic carpet protection stuff from Wal-Mart. I'll keep them in the car for now.

I wear Nike Shox shoes and I noticed after 1 year of wearing them in another car, my heel ate right through the OEM Honda mat and rubber bottom. So Im not looking to repeat this wear in the TSX.

I have the OEM All-Weathers. TOTALLY worth it. The OEM carpet is in the basement boxed up.
