I got some new emblems I got some A-Spec badges that were hydro dipped so that they look like carbon fiber and also the rear Acura emblem, but I could not find the SH-AWD or the RDX badges in hydro dipped carbon fiber, so I got the dark chrome ones. Yes I know that she is dirty, but it's been raining a lot and she has to be parked outside.

 

What about the big one up front?

 

I would love to change the front Acura emblem, but the chrome piece is behind the clear cover and I don't know if it's possible to disassemble the unit.

 

How did you get the side aspec ones to be in the correct position? Did you get them off Etsy?

 

Yes, I got them through Etsy, not cheap but they look good. 😀. I used blue painters tape to mark the outline, of the straight sections, then used fishing line to remove the old emblem. Cleaned up the area and lined up the new emblem, it's pretty easy.

 

I think these would look good on all black RDX. But, to install the front Acura emblem would probably require removing the front grill and I believe there is a radar behind it, could be tricky.

For the rear Acura emblem, do yo just remove the mid section cover of the hatch? Does the cover just pop off when prying at the right spot?

 

The rear Acura Emblem comes off just like the others, you do not have to remove any covers, i used fishing line and got about half-way through it and then just used my fingers to peel it off the rest of the way.

 

If anyone finds high quality black emblems "A" "RDX" "SH-AWD" for the tailgate let us know.

Etsy carries carbon fiber and black carbon fiber. What would look better on a white A-Spec?

 

I think it's a personal choice, what looks good to me may look bad to others.

 

Are your new carbon fiber emblems on the sides of the vehicles a different size than the original? It looks there is an indent or halo from where the previous emblem was installed surrounding the new emblems.
