Leather Seats Sagging?

I noticed that the leather in the driver's seat of my car is starting to sag a little - like it's loose now that my ass has been sitting it for...7k miles after 1.5 years.
Have you guys figured out how to prevent it from sagging?

Seat covers work but aren't pretty...and cushions wouldn't allow me to use the heated seats and winter is here.

clean and condition your leather with something like chemicals guys, they have a kit with a cleaner and a conditioner. As your leather ages it will lose its elasticity and needs conditioning

my seats are like new still with 27,000 miles

Really? It is forecast to be 100 F here today. LOL Where do you live? And I NEVER uses seat covers. They just look and feel tacky. Why would you cover the nice leather that you paid for?

I have 22,000 + miles and 20 months, and no evidence of any wear or sagging.

I’m in the same boat with seat covers, they are hideous, you end up 15 years later with a car going to the scrap yard with brand new leather seats underneath that no one enjoyed.

It’s kinda like people who put steering wheel covers on a nice brand new leather wrapped steering wheel, should of bought something cheaper if your gonna just do that. Cleaning and conditioning them will make them last through the life of the car no problem

First time RDX buyer and am interested in the same topic, mostly just in an attempt to get ahead of what I’ll call “preventative interior maintenance.” I came across this video!

I’m planning on picking up the Chemical Guys cleaner/conditioner recommended above as well as a heat gun. Hope that helps!

careful with a heat gun, heat usually just degrades things, and those heat guns get so hot they can damage stuff easily, honestly I think you will be happy with the cleaner and conditioner
