Important Torque Numbers

Here are the official torque numbers for the usual components for you DIY'ers:

Oil Filter : 12 N-m, 9 Ft-lbs, 108 Inch-lbs
Oil Drain Plug : 40 N-m, 30 Ft-lbs, 360 Inch-lbs
Front brake caliper : 50 N-m, 37 Ft-lbs, 444 Inch-lbs
Rear brake caliper : 25 N-m, 18 Ft-lbs, 216 Inch-lbs
Wheel Nuts : 108 N-m, 80 Ft-lbs, 960 Inch-lbs
Transmission Drain & Fill Plugs : 49 N-m, 36 Ft-lbs, 432 Inch-lbs
Transfer Case Assembly Drain & Fill Plugs : 44 N-m, 32 Ft-lbs, 384 Inch-lbs
Rear Differential Drain & Fill Plugs : 47 N-m, 35 Ft-lbs, 420 Inch-lbs
Spark Plugs : 22 N-m, 16 Ft-lbs, 192 Inch-lbs
Spark Plug Coil Pack : 12 N-m, 9 Ft-lbs, 108 Inch-lbs

Has anyone ever checked the oil filter torque? I think that might be in the DSM-5 diagnostic manual under OCD.

OTOH lubing the gasket before you screw it on is polite. She'll thank you for that.

Pretty sure it is 20 Nm or 15 Ft.ilbs. Someone posted pics from manual and specs are in the pic.

The flange bolt torque spec is 50 Nm
