Cleaning Engine bay

Cleaning Engine bay

Is it a good idea to have engine bay clean and save way to do it, any thought? Tks.

I wipe down the engine compartment every few washes. I use towels and soapy water to wipe all surfaces that are possible to wipe. I'll also use soapy water in a pump sprayer to cover some deeper areas, being careful around electrical connections. I'm not fanatical about it, just keeping the road grime to a minimum.

Yes good idea, me too afraid water sip in into electrical components...

When the bay is dry, use a small paint brush with a ShopVac to loosen the dust and then wipe it down per DJA123.

I'd recommend occasionally cleaning it up. Definitely not something you need to do super often, but it'll help keep it looking like a BEAUTY!
