Rearview Mirror

Hello-

I have a 2020 Rdx Advanced and it seems like my auto-dimming rear view mirror isn't "working". I pressed the center button and can see it turn green or turn off. However, it doesn't seem to be effective dimming the lights behind me. Is there something I can do to test if it's truly working? Or does anyone have a fix?

Thanks

I have the same question on my 19.

Here is the manual.

When you are driving after dark, the automatic dimming rearview mirror and automatic dimming power door mirrors reduce the glare from headlights behind you, based on inputs from the mirror sensor. Press the auto button to turn this function on and off. When activated, the auto indicator comes on. The auto dimming function cancels when the transmission is in (R).

Have a friend get behind you with their high beams on!

My side mirrors seem to be dimming just fine. The interior mirror doesn't seem to do much.

Where exactly is the "auto indicator" located? I have looked on the mirror and the dash but see nothing change or light up when I press the button.
Using a flashlight I can verify the auto-dimming is working, but would be much easier if there was a visual indicator I could see 😎
