Anyone know if you can change the climate control fan speed by using the steering wheel HFL button? On my 2016 MDX, I used to be able to say commands like "fan speed high" and it would change the fan speed to high. Similarly, I could change the volume level by saying "turn volume up/down". Can this be done on the new RDX?

 

I took delivery of my RDX last week and during the tech demonstration the sales guy and I were trying to figure out voice prompts that would change temp...but no luck! Not a huge deal, but I did use that function once in a while on my '07 RDX.

 

My salesman did it and it worked during our demo. I believe he said something like "Climate 72". I remember trying "Temperature" and don't believe that worked but try it out and see what happens.

 

Per the owners manual (page 272-273) the following command categories are available:

Audio
Navigation
Standard
Letter
List

Nothing for climate control - but then there are a number of things not documented in the manual so who knows.
