2023 RDX Advance here. When using Google Maps on Carplay on the TrueTouch Interface I am no longer able to move the cursor to reach the plus and minus zoom buttons, hence I am stuck on one zoom level. The cursor moves burt stops short of the zoom buttons. I believe this may have started when I updated to IOS 18.4 on my iphone 15. Is it just me or has anyone else noticed the same problem?

 

Same here on 2020, Some phone update(s) must have caused the issue,

 

This won't help you, I fear, but as point of information I can get to the Google maps zoom buttons without any issue on my 2025 RDX advance using the same software release.

You might try the newer 18.4.1 and see if it fixed it -- it did fix other CarPlay issues.

Thanks for the feedback. Good that it works on your 2025. I just downloaded 18.4.1 and no dice. I still can't get to the Google maps zoom buttons on my 2023. Interestingly, Apple maps works fine on carplay. I'm just used to Google maps...oh well! Guess I will use Apple maps or the native Acura navigation.

Same here. 2022 and not able to zoom in or out. I called my Acura service rep and he had not heard of the issue?

 

Apple has changed the CarPlay Template specifications. The Zoom buttons are too far down in screen levels. Both Waze and Google Maps will need to revise their software to bring the zoom buttons to main or second screen. I’ve send support request to both Waze and Google Maps and have received no responses. Should not be so difficult to move the feature !!!!
