Buzz from the front passenger ceiling speaker just popped up anyone else seeing that? let the dealer look at it or anyone find some other solution?

 

Are you talking about the speakers on the ceiling that are right above your head? I think they might actually be part of the ANC system.

If that's the case, I have the same thing in my RDX and it's not coming from the speaker, but from the headliner ... it's held on by "plastic velcro" and I guess it vibrates and makes a buzzing noise at certain frequencies. It's intermittent but drives me up a fucking wall when it hits. Brought it to the dealer three times for various noises and rattles (along with other issues) and each time they come back with "cannot replicate" for the interior rattles/noise issues. Chalk it up to poor build quality. To verify it's the same issue, when you do hear it, have someone sitting in the passenger seat press up on the headliner in the area where the noise is coming from. For me, it would immediately alleviate the issue and it comes back when I let go.

 

You can play in diagnostic menu, it can activate each
speaker to check for rattles, see “check rattles” option.

 

I had this issue with my 19 RDX. For me, the issue was that the celing speaker was too high in my audio settings. I went to the settings, lowered the volume of the roof speakers and it worked for me, no more popping.

 

let me try that i'll lower the ceiling speakers too bad i like the way it sounds like that. How do we get to that speaker diagnostic setting?
