Does anyone know if we are ever going to get Android Auto to take advantage of the wide screen like car play?

Carplay is not full screen too

Well I've hooked up my work iPhone and using the map and audio together spotify it is full screen. I see the music on the small screen and apple map or Google map on the main screen. With Android auto if use both from the phone I only get one or the other on the main screen and on the little secondary screen just an arrow that says Android auto.

I just want my Google Maps on one screen and my Tidal music on the other. Why can't I have this combination? Sometimes Acura navigation and Google maps will be up at the same time. Why is it I cannot have Google maps in the larger main screen and Tidal music in the side screen?

I agree with you. Want my Google maps on the main screen and spotify on the other. Shouldn't be hard. Car play has it like that. System is based on android yet Apple has better integration? Amazingly weird.

Most likely limitation on Android Auto. If Google don't have API for vendors to retrieve the music information, then nothing that Acura can do.

In my RDX I can run Spotify on small screen and Acura NAV on main screen, I didn't find solution to run Apple (Google) maps on main screen and Spotify on small screen. You can run Apple (Google) maps and Spotify on main screen together, but in that case map will be too small. So there is not possible to run CarPlay in full screen mode.
