Acuralink pop-up on Iphone
Hi,
Whenever I get into the car , the acuralink app on my iphone pops up with a "connected message". There is a dismiss button when pushed which gives me two options, "Cancel" and "I'm Safe"
Unfortunately this happens every time i'm in the car or I disconnect from Carplay.
Anyone else experiencing this or know a way to turn this off?

Mine does it all the time. Not sure why but it sure is annoying.

The only time I have seen mine open when in the car is when I had the BlueDriver connected to the OBD port. I have looked at the settings for Acuralink and nothing seems to be turned "off". Will keep looking and see if I can find anything.

Same here. No pattern to it. Sometimes it’s when I plug the iphone into the car; sometimes it’s just after I unplug the iphone from the car; sometimes it’s just whenever it feels like it, including when I am not near the car. It’s the interference with other activities that is most annoying.

Happens about 2-3 times a week. Not “all the time” but still random and annoying, and I cannot figure out what triggers it.

The HondaLink app used with my last three Hondas (Accord, Civic, and Ridgeline) did the same thing. The only way to stop it is to delete the app or unpair the Bluetooth connection between the vehicle and the phone.

Happens with my wife’s phone each time the car starts up. That, and if no music playing, it automatically starts playing one of her play list. I love how this car drives, she likes it too, but the infotainment system is a joke. Nav can’t even go to my correct address which has been here since 1987. My ‘16 Chevy 2500 is more predictable and works smoother. I figured Acura would be pretty good with this stuff. One more off topic rant. In the Chevy, when I shut it off with an HD radio station playing, it starts immediately when I start up again. Not the Acura. Have to manually reselect the radio. Sorry. Rant over. Just a bit annoyed with this car. Didn’t pay what I did for the truck, but still, it should work correctly.
