Zylon interior protection

So just purchased my Rdx Saturday and it’s the base so it has the synthetic leather which I am totally cool with. The dealer offered to put this Zylon on my seats free of charge. Normally I wouldn’t be a fan nor pay for this stuff but since it is free, any reason why I shouldn’t do this ? Could it hurt the seats? They are doing because of a screw up and just trying to make me happy. Thoughts?

A total worthless and high profit dealer add-on, just say, "No".

believe what you want but I bought the car a week ago and they said they would put it on just the other day because of a mix up with something else. I did not pay for it. Just looking for an opinion on whether I should have it done even for free

just google the stuff. Horrible reviews for snake oil. There are lots of "free" things that I would not want anywhere near my car, inside or out. Pass.

If they are trying to make up for some error/problem, get some free floor mats, a free oil change or something that has value. The fact that the dealership is offering it for free tells you what it is worth.

Tell them to upgrade the 3 year maintenance plan to the 4yr 60k plan.

Sorry....I thought it was make up for a "mixup that they made". Even if free I think that I would pass. I am picky about the products that I use on my vehicles. Good luck.

I got it on mine. It has a warranty that if it gets a stain and they can't get it out, they replace the interior. Don't see why not.

if you think you are so smart, explain to me how they are charging me for it when I came back a week later to solve a problem and it was something extra they wanted to give me. I was looking for serious responses not a bunch of smart ass comments. Big help you are

i ended up telling me I didn’t want it. Meanwhile I added the lower rear bumper trim and they ended up not charging me for it. I think I made out ok
