My wipers last 1.5-2 years. I do clean wiper's rubber every time I wash car, I think it extends life because you remove dirt that degrades rubber).

Does a 2015 RDX OEM wiper blade have an off set mounting point?
The graphic below shows the RDX straight wiper blades and the 'offset' wiper arms that attach to the #3 front wipe link.

sure, you cannot completely flip the wipers up without the annoying maintenance mode, but I have changed the blades twice w/out any of these steps and wash my car weekly over and under the wiper blades and arms without any issue and without hitting them on the bottom side of the hood. For some context I replace with Bosch Icons so it replaces the entire blade assembly. Not sure if the issue is trying to replace the rubber only - then I can see why they might need to be put into maintenance mode and flipped up.
