Windshield causing plastic to fall off?

I’ve had my 2019 for 7 months now and the other day I was just driving and a piece of the plastic that is up by the rear view mirror just fell off and the rest of it is all loose now. Had some other issues (brakes, Apple CarPlay, front object sensors) so I already had an appointment at the dealer. Dealer said it’s not staying on because the windshield is aftermarket?? Idk if the windshield has been replaced or not but that seems odd either way. Anyone have any experience with this? From what I’ve read here these windshield are problematic or “soft”. So just curious if anyone else has this issue?

i have a 2019 and dont have this issue and my windshield its oem, its probably true about using aftermarket windshield, you can find out by looking at the bottom left and see if you see a acura logo. if you dont its most likely a aftermarket unit.
