Wondering what prices people are finding on these RDX trims? Seeing any deals yet?

I'm thinking hopefully in the Fall we may find some better deals and hopefully some factory rebates.

I just started looked around, however haven't seen any great pricing.

Have a great day everyone!

The market changes quite dynamically, but when I bought in March, they were asking MSRP and I didn't try to negotiate because I just knew they won't budge. I did get $1000 off from Acura for loyalty. The pricing at that time was same across the lineup. I'm not seeing too much inventory build on their website, so I think it would be about the same now. By fall the 2024s will start showing up so they may offer a deal if a particular color is not moving.

Appreciate the feedback. You are correct on the inventory. I also noticed from my reaching out to a couple of different dealers that they are leaving cars listed on their websites when they have already sold.

Ahhh color. My problem is I am stuck on the blue with black interior. So that pushes me from the Advanced to the A-Spec Advance because of the grey interior in the Advance.

I have a 2016 AWD Advance with 99k on her. She's worth 16k now.

What colors and trim do you have?

White/Parchment Tech AWD. Replaced a 2019 with about 42k miles of the same color and trim. I got $31k if remember right for the trade and I paid around $46k with tax and registration back in 2018. For the 2023 I paid around $51k with tax and registration, so I paid $20k after trade. They matched the carmax price which was $4k more than had originally offered.

I bought an 2023 A Spec Advance in March, blue pearl exterior and orchid interior (ivory leather with black suede inserts) splash guards, premium mats, first aid kit and interior cleaning kit for $54,745.00. That was $600 under MSRP. I got $7,000.00 for a 2012 Volvo S60. Not a great deal, but competitive. I live near Pittsburgh. No regrets.

Appreciate you sharing. Glad to hear you enjoying your new ride. Congrats!!!

I miss the days when they would deal. I got luck when I purchased my wife's RDX in February 2020 as it was right before it hit the fan in March and no deals were to be had anymore.

Every time I take my ‘19 advance in for service, my dealer here in Pa tries to get me to upgrade to a new advance. Last year they were adding a few grand in dealer add-on crap over MSRP. Last week it was MSRP less the $1000 loyalty rebate, without all the dealer add-ons for “previous customers”. I didn’t work to bring that down, I’m not interested in upgrading yet, but it does seem a bit better pricing environment compared to last year, except for the current finance rates.

would you also qualify for loyalty or is that included? if it’s included it’s still a good deal. If it stacks then it’s s great deal!

I would qualify for loyalty, but I didn't ask me if I would. I may have to discuss further with them. Thanks for validating its a good price.

I was really thinking that the Fall will be even better pricing. However I really want the blue with ebony interior. Not sure how popular that is, but only see a couple of them.

In my area white is the only color that is in high demand.

I got a dealer offer today on a A-Spec Advance.

$55,545 msrp and will sell for $50,100.

That includes my 1k loyalty. And I'm thinking whatever the hold back and any other manufacturer's incentives.

And thanks to this group got warranty pricing via the following dealerships.
8yr / 100k / $0 Ded
Hyannis Honda $2035
Curry Acura $2137

My crappy state of Illinois taxes you if you buy the warranty as part of the car sale purchase. So even if the dealer wanted to price match, they would have to play with the numbers.

However if I just by the warranty on its own from one of the dealerships that quoted me on the warranty, my state doesn't tax it.

Wow that sounds like a steal. They must really have trouble moving that car up there. I guess where I live people have too much money.

I did. Unfortunately this was the best price.

I have a friend that works at a dealership that is looking into this for me.

Given the high number of Acura dealers in the Chicgao area, might I ask what region of Chicago area you received that quote (if you’re not comfortable sharing their name)?

I have a great relationship with my dealer multiple cars over in the northern suburbs, however they have yet to deviate from MSRP…simply thinking for the future I may need to broaden my scope.

Unlike MDX the RDX inventory is much lower so $5,545 in discounts seems like a really good deal.

Hi All,
Thanks for the info on pricing - this looks encouraging. I am about to be in the market for a 23 Advance RDX and wanted to get thoughts on price by color (i.e., are some models more popular and therefore less likely to be negotiable). It seems like there are about 10 Advance in stock in New England (but about 30 A-Spec Advance). Mainly white, black and metallic). I am leaning towards the violet - any chance these are not as hot as the red and blue?

Thanks
MJ

My brother has a 2021 TLX Advance in Phantom Violet and it is a great color and offers exclusivity since there are not many around. If you can find one I would go for that color for sure.

Would you mind sharing which Chicago dealer this was from? I'm in the NW suburbs myself and looking into an MDX.

Thank you!

They held true to giving me that price. As far As the accessories with installation goes..... They made up a little ground unfortunately.

2. Wheel wheel splash guards
3. Wheel locks
4. All weather mats

Part Cost with Installation $3387
Negotiated price $3000

Cargo Cover
Acura Part No.: 08U35-TJB-210

Body Side Moldings
Acura Part No.: 08P05-TJB-290
*B621P* Apex Blue Pearl

Rear Bumper Applique
Acura Part No.: 08P48-TJB-200

Door Edge Film
Acura Part No.: 08P20-TJB-200A

Door Handle Film
Acura Part No.: 08P48-TJB-200A

Welcome Lights
Acura Part No.: 08V27-TJB-200

Temporary Wheel Kit
Acura Part No.: 06421-TJB-A50

The extended warranty they would not play ball with the online Honda Saccuchi price of $1987 for 8yr 100k $0 ded.

The finance guy kept telling me that qoute was for a maintenance program. He said his cost was $2500 for the extended warranty. I told him I'll get it on my own through Saccuchi since you won't price match and won't acknowledge that I am correct as the code is D82 and also matches what your trying to sell me at a higher cost.

Hopes this helps you and others! Happy motoring!

Agree...that is incredible...if that is the true MSRP and some bloated number. We have been busy looking at new cars for a few months and prices are all over the place....Kia/Hyundai/Genesis are the worst and range from 5 to 8K over MSRP with add-ons of crap like nitrogen air in tires and so on, plus dealer market adjustments.....all the way to MB dealers with no mark ups at all. Incredibly frustrating. But nobody seems to be willing to cut prices, at least yet. We have reached out regionally to other dealers and not had much success. Maybe it's a west coast/east coast thing...

It may me worth negotiating online and then a one way flight.

I have dealt with the Libertyville and Morton Grove, McGrath dealerships. This time it was Libertyville. They may also of a dealership for one of the brands you are searching for. Good luck.

No bloated or extra add ons that I add to pay for that were part of my deal.

Understood. When we bought or '19, dealing online was relatively easy. You would think years later it would be easier but not to be. There seems to this driving desire on the dealers part to get us in to their cubicle...so they can work their magic I guess. We have had instances where they refuse to give any price online...mostly it seems because they want to hide how much in market adjustment (like adding 5K to MSRP) and adding all the BS add-ons..the KIA dealer was the worst...we knew they added both of these to the MSRP but they would not divulge it online. It seemed, to me, like they wanted to add about 8K in garbage fees, then negotiate that down and make you feel like you 'won'. Of course you would still have been paying north of MSRP but I guess they think your are too stupid to realize that..., but the game playing has just gotten more complex. I would guess it has to do with these large chains that have purchased these dealerships and them adding their Harvard trained finance people

I've had the same experience.

"You truly have to see the vehicle in person and take it for a test drive to appreciate what it's all about."

Sure, I'll come down, just let me know if there's any wiggle room on MSRP.

Crickets ... even before the pandemic hit.

I purchased my RDX from the Libertyville dealership and it was the 2nd easiest car buying experience I've had. The easiest goes to the Subaru dealer I got my last Subaru from.

Sending you a PM.

Good job on getting the deal you wanted. Of course it’s a different year, inflation, gouging, whatever…when we bought our ‘19 we paid $1695 for the 4 yr, 50K extra warranty. We got that from our local dealer after getting a quote from an Acura dealer in either NY or FL. I showed the quote to our local dealer and they matched it. Our local dealer (Reno) was not not where we bought it (Vegas).
