What is the difference between the 2022 PMC RDX vs the A-Spec Advance edition ??
So the differences are all cosmetic nothing mechanical. blue stitching instead of red stitching. front small outer grill is color matched to the car instead of black. Black Exhaust pipes. door handles are black instead of color matched. and rims are black instead of gray
Also PMC has a unique black roof.
One caution is that PMC paint is fragile. Owner's manual says no automatic car washes. I ended up doing full PPF on my RDX PMC and buying a touchless wash membership as I don't have time for hand washes.
This may be sales fluff, but the dealer I bought my PMC from said PMC models are put together better. While my other Honda's and Acura's have had occasional fit/finish flaws and warranty issues, my RDX PMC has been absolutely flawless. Not a single issue of any kind. So maybe this is true.

each PMC has a badge inside that tells them what number they are. In addition to what mvl said, the PMC are assembled by hand compared made thru assembly line. This means each panel is fit properly and aligned. That was 1 reason i wanted the PMC
Can you share some examples? Some dealers can be slimey and try and sell a product as something it isn't. This was huge in the early 2000's with things like "Gold edition" models that compromised of basically gold badges lol.

Per the Acura PMC site: "PRACTICE

The PMC is equal parts studio, laboratory, and manufacturing facility. An open, dynamic space, where humans work in concert with robots to meticulously craft each car. Yeah lots of PMCs on used car websites appear to be aspec advanced pictures. Don't know if the label is wrong or the pic is fake.
Take the car's vin and attempt to search for parts for it on Acura Dreamshop's website. The website will tell you if it is a PMC or not.
The 2022 VIN ends in 000nnn. Where nnn is between 001 and 200 (matches the plaque).

I think it might also be how the VIN is coded. According to my insurance company, my '21 Advance is also a PMC!
Back when I was shopping nationwide for my 2022 RDX PMC, I found all had identical VINs except the last 3 digits matched the plaque.
Looking today I don't see that on all the used sites (and their colors are wrong) which makes me think many are mislabeled as PMC improperly.
I have never seen Acura dreamshop mislabel a VIN, so that should be a good source.
Maybe dealers are lying or don't know Acura's well enough, or are misled by whatever database is also misleading insurers to call some non-PMC models a PMC.
For reference only 2 RDX PMC years existed:
- 2021 in orange
- 2022 in bright blue

My 2021 NON-PMC Aspec paint is super strong and hard. Hard to chip or mark up. Went through a bunch of auto car washes in the snow and inclement weather - to get all the grit off it 2x a week (undercarriage too). A light orbital polish once a year with good spray on ceramic coating - better than new. All my panel gaps are equal, never an issue either in 31 months, 20K miles in all types of weather.
Yikes - soft paint and have to do PPF to the entire vehicle - too much time and $$$$ for a daily IMO.

For 2020 (MDX and TLX) and 2021 (RDX) the PMC was the only way to get an aspec advance, so that was a unique selling point.
The 2022 had a regular Aspec Advance so PMC was really worth it only if you loved the unique Blue/black look (wife did).
